Henry started off the week on "Awesome" in class. Always a welcome sight, even though he is typically very good at school. The only time he has a challenging day is if they were unable to go outside to play. We are incredibly pleased with his progress at school and it's great seeing him thriving and happy.
He loves to build with Legos and has asked numerous times is we would buy him for home. Maybe for Christmas.
Lucy had her yearly checkup Saturday morning. Little dumpling gained almost a whole pound since April so it's time to cut back a smidge on her food intake. She moves non-stop so I'm not really sure how she put on weight, but she looks like a sausage. Of course so does her Mama so both of us could use the exercise.
Nana and Papa asked if Henry could come over and play after church. Mama happily agreed. They took him to Lowe's where he bumped into a creepy new friend. I mean, Santa Claus. Nana said that he wasn't sure of the jolly fellow at first....
But he eventually warmed up to him and even posed for a picture. Hopefully he won't be afraid of the real Santa when we go to visit in a few weeks. Although, screaming while sitting on Santa's lap pictures are pretty hilarious. Sorry kid, but one day when you have your own child, you'll understand why we stand in line and pay good money for the experience.
Hammin' it up for Nana
A couple funny things from this week: HH was arguing with Mike about taking a bath and started to throw a fit. Mike had to use a stern voice and Henry started crying, saying "Don't yell at me, Daddy. That's so wude!" I busted a gut laughing. I don't know who told him about being rude, but my heavens that was hilarious.
Instead of using the word "yesterday," Henry says "Lasterday...." Hilarious.
Tomorrow is picture day at school. Fingers crossed that he smiles and that they can get a good picture of him.
Well I guess that's all for now. Thanks for reading!
