Nana and Papa bought a boat so we went tonight for our first trip out. When we got to the marina, Nana and Ge-Gee wanted to take the kids to see the fish. Apparently the fish at the marina are spoiled, you can buy little bags of fish food and they just swim right up. It was pretty neat watching these fish go after it. The kids seemed to enjoy it too.
Henry with his own cup of cookies; he wasn't sharing!
It was neat going through the marina and seeing the boat in the slip. We are very excited about the boat and thankful Nana and Papa bought it. Sidenote: I grew up on the lake before we started drag racing so this is a good part of my life that I enjoy getting back. Anywho, Henry hopped aboard with very little hesitation but was very curious. He smiled while we cruised along and seemed to enjoy himself.

Nikki, Livie and Kevin - just cruisin'
someone stole Aunt Corinne's sunglasses
He wasn't a huge fan of the life jacket once we stopped and I think since he saw the adults without them, he was ready to ditch his. We eventually talked him out of his fit and he even got in the water for a little bit. I'm not sure who was more nervous, me or him. Something about holding a 26 pound sack of taters in a life jacket isn't too enjoyable. He enjoyed sitting on the swim deck and kicking his feet in the water. I think next time will be more fun and it will only go up from there. Cruising was definitely his favorite part of the trip. It was mine too. :)
Livie wanted a cookie and "in da yake!"

Thanks again Nana and Papa! We really enjoyed it and look forward to the next trip!
